This post was supposed to be ready last Monday, but life happens. I got sick and I was barely able to leave my bed. It was so upsetting!
Anyway, I wanted to write this post because one of the things that are very difficult in a long-distance relationship is to find a gift that is meaningful, can be mailed and you know… show how much we appreciate our significant other.
It doesn’t have to be big, and sometimes just the intention is enough. That’s why I made a list of the best gift ideas for long distance relationships.
I must add that I have made most of these gifts and let me tell you, I’m sure your boyfriend or girlfriend will love each of these.

The Best Gift Ideas For Long Distance Relationships
1. Postcard
The best thing about sending a postcard is that you can customize them and write romantic messages on them.
I’ve been sending my boyfriend postcard for Christmas since we started dating and it’s a great idea for when you don’t have a lot of money, but you still want to be present for the holidays.
My favorite app for this is Ink Cards, the quality is great and the designs they have are super pretty.

2. Buy Online
This will always be the safest option if you want to buy something and be delivered directly to the place your significant other lives.
It’s easy, and you can always find a good gift for that person, from a mug to an elaborated basket full of their favorite candies.
3. Open When Letters
These are a classic! you can find them all over Pinterest. They are super useful for the first months of being away. We all know that those are the hardest.
4. Jar Full Of Notes
I did this a year ago. I fill up a jar with 365 notes so my boyfriend could read something different for a whole year. How cute, right?

5. Mailed Kisses
This is such a great idea! I haven’t done it yet but putting kiss marks on paper and write in every kiss a message sounds very romantic!

6. Pictures With Words

7. Frame With Important Dates
This is another cute way to remember important dates. I did a similar one with my important dates. The date we met, the date of our first kiss and our anniversary. Great idea if you don’t want to forget the

8. Couples Journal
I love this journal, it has funny questions and it’s a great way to get to know your partner in another way.
9. Tea Bags
My personal favorite! It’s a DIY I made not long ago and it’s a cute present for someone who loves tea.

10. Heart Attack
Just fill a box full of hearts and for a more romantic touch, put a message on each of it. Make sure to follow my tutorial here.

I love this idea for you get to be together. Make hearts and hide them somewhere your significant other will find them eventually.

I think these are so cute. I love the “open when!” The only problem I see is that while I would love to get them, my boyfriend is not very sappy and would probably not appreciate them as much as me. I would probably send him a practical gift instead! Cool post!
