Happy birthday to me! I’m turning 26 and today on the blog I wanted to share a few things you can get for free on your birthday. Because, let’s be honest, who doesn’t like freebies?
I wanted to write something helpful for you instead of talking about myself. I figured you would be more interested in knowing where you could get free stuff instead of reading what I learned last year or what I’ve been learned in 26 years of my life.

Turning 26 is weird. I’m starting my late twenties and it’s scary. It feels like yesterday when I graduated from college and it has been 8 years since I graduated from high school. I try not to think about the things I should be already doing at 26, not because I’m in denial, but because I’m taking a different path and I shouldn’t compare myself with others.
I know for a fact that some relatives don’t agree with my choices, but if I’m happy I don’t care what others think.

1. Sephora
To get a free gift from them you just need to be part of their reward program. When the month of your birthday arrives, they will send you and email with the two options of products you can get. Last year I got products from BITE and I fell in love with the brand!
2. Starbucks
This has to be my favorite one. You not only get a free gift. You get to choose which one you want and the size. Like duh, give me my Venti Chai Latte please! To get your free drink you just need to sign up for Starbucks Rewards.
3. Red Robin
Pretty much with all these restaurants/stores you will need to sign up for their loyalty program, and Red Robin is not the exception. The best part of this, is that you can redeem a free burger any day of your birthday month. Yay!
4. Chick-fil-A
If you are part of their membership program (Chick-fil-A One), you will receive a birthday reward. They don’t say exactly what it is, but do we care? I don’t think so!
5. Dunkin’ Donuts
Signing up with Dunkin Donuts’ Perks not only gets you a free drink on your birthday but it also gets you a free drink upon signup and also one every time you reach 200 points.
6. Pinkberry
Is frozen yogurt your thing? Then you know where to go on your birthday! To be part of their reward program you just need to download the app and sign up. Super easy! Once you are a PinkCard member, you get a free yogurt on your birthday.
7. Ulta
Sign up to be a member for discounts and a free gift on your birthday.
The Ultamate Rewards program gives its members a free birthday gift. You must be signed up to receive Ulta Beauty emails to get your birthday gift coupon, which you can present in stores in exchange for the gift.
8. Denny’s
Bring your ID and they’ll give you a delicious Grand Slam breakfast on your birthday, which includes two buttermilk pancakes, two sunny-side up eggs, two bacon strips and two sausage links. *On my way to Denny’s!*
9. Chipotle
By joining Chipotle rewards, you get what they describe as: “Party Chipotle-style with a gift from us on your birthday”. Not sure what they mean but I’ll definitely go there and find out.
10. Panera Bread
The restaurant sends a birthday coupon for a FREE pastry. It can be a croissant, muffin, scone, sweet roll or cookie. Just sign up for MyPanera Rewards to get one. No purchase is required and the coupon can be used on your birthday and 6 days after.
So you can save it for later and prioritize other places!
11. AMC Theatre
AMC Stubs Insider members enjoy a large popcorn on us during your birthday month! If you are part of the A-List or Premiere program, you get a free large popcorn and free large fountain drink.
Birthday gifts are loaded to your account the first day of your birth month. So just head to the theatre during your birth month, scan your card, and voila!
12. Olive Garden
When you’re part of Olive Garden’s eClub you’ll get free dessert on your birthday at dinner when you dine alone or with friends on your birthday.
13. BareMinerals
The Friends and Benefits loyalty program gives members a free birthday gift each year. Check your email for a product coupon that is redeemable for a gift. No purchase is required to redeem your gift in stores, but you must make a purchase to redeem it online.
14. Auntie Anne’s
When you download the Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Perks app you can get a free birthday pretzel! As an additional incentive for downloading the app, Auntie Anne’s will reward you with a free pretzel after you make your first purchase. *Downloading the app now*
15. Krispy Kreme
When you sign up with Kripsy Kreme’s eClub, you get a free donut of choice on your birthday. I’ll definitely be rolling by the end of my birthday week.
16. Sonic
Members of Sonic’s My Sonic club get a free treat on their birthday. The treat varies by location, but past years include an order of tots, medium fountain drink or cream slush.
17. Anthropologie
AnthroPerks is a loyalty program. The membership is free and includes many benefits. They don’t specify the gift but in the website says you get “a special treat to celebrate your birthday month”. That sounds good enough for me!
18. BurgerFi
I’m a fan of BurgerFi you so I go there a lot. To get your birthday reward, you must have entered your birthday in the “Profile” section of your app.
On your birthday, if you have already made a transaction, you will receive your birthday reward. This reward will be valid for 30 days. That’s the best part! I can go whenever I want and I don’t have the pressure to go on my birthday.
19. Cold Stone Creamery
Who’s down for some ice cream? When you join the Cold Stone Club Rewards, you can collect points toward purchases with each order and get a buy one, get one free coupon on your birthday each year. Perfect if you go with a friend or your significant other.
20. GODIVA
If you love GODIVA chocolate and are always getting some for yourself and your loved ones, join their rewards club. You get a birthday chocolate offer every year and a free chocolate every month.
There’s no cost to join so sign up and begin receiving rewards from GODIVA.
21. IHOP
Who wants free pancakes? You can get them when you sign up. Not only the day of your birthday, but also every anniversary of signing up. How nice is that?
22. Jamba Juice
Get a free birthday smoothie when you download the new Jamba app and sign up to activate your account!
23. Kiehl’s
Depending on what category you are in. You will get a free lip balm or a travel size product product on your birthday. The only catch here is that you have to purchase something during your birthday month.
24. The Cheesecake Factory
In this case you will need to tell your server it’s your birthday. They offer you a complimentary birthday sundae with a tiny “scoopette” of vanilla ice cream, fudge, and top it with a crown of whipped cream, confetti pieces and a candle. That sounds amazing!
25. Redbox
When you sign up with Redbox Play Pass, you’ll get a free movie rental each year on your birthday. Thinking about how to end your birthday? Movie night is the way to go!
26. Dave & Busters
If you don’t have birthday plans, sign up for Dave & Busters Rewards Club and get $10 off games on your birthday visit. Even though this isn’t exactly free. Dave & Busters is so cool and spending some time playing there is a great way to celebrate your day.
BONUS: Petco
Now, this isn’t exactly for you, but whatever makes you pet happy, makes you happy as well. If you are part of their rewards program: Pal Rewards. Complete an online pet profile and receive a free gift for your pet’s birthday. I think this is so sweet!
