Hello beautiful people! I hope you all are having an amazing week. Today I’ll be sharing a fall reading list full of amazing romance books. If you read my latest post, you know that I haven’t uploaded a new blog post in almost two months. Which is crazy for me! But now that I think about it, the situation came with one benefit: I had more time to read!
My Goodreads Reading Challenge is completed. At the beginning of the year I told myself that I wanted to read 50 book this year, and so far I’ve read 55. I can’t even believe myself! Also, if you are crazy about romance books like me, I encourage you to participate in my Romance Book Reading Challenge. It’s never too late! You still have the rest of the year to complete it. I still need to finish it myself!

1. The Wrath of Eli (The Seven Sins #1) by Lily Zante
“Take a dip with me, Harper. Cool down.”
“Uh… ” The invite is loaded like a gun. I’m aware that I need to say something but words fail me. “Cool down?” I manage to say.
“It’s a warm night. Actually, it’s a hot night. I couldn’t sleep so here I am.”
It’s only a dip in the tub.
And then my heart tells me, he’s not the problem. I am.
I want him to touch me. I want him to kiss me. I want him to do so many unspeakable things to me, and I can’t believe I’m having this conversation in my head when all he’s asked me to do is to take a dip with him.
“I didn’t bring my bikini.”
“I didn’t bring my swim shorts either.”
Now I lick my lower lip.
Elias Cardoza has a huge chip on his shoulder, and he trusts no one. Throughout his entire life he’s been told he’s a failure. When he gets a shot at the world heavyweight title, nobody expects him to win; he’s an underdog who has landed this fight by pure luck.
But he’s determined to prove everyone wrong.
Except that Harper Lindstrom, a journalist from the local paper, has been sent to shadow him for a month. She’s out of her depth in the dirty boxing gym, trying to cover a story in which she has no real interest.
Until Eli becomes her interest.
But to him, she’s a distraction he can do without.
He wants the belt, and she wants the story.
What will it be?
The Wrath of Eli is a standalone enemies-to-lovers contemporary romance about the power of love; about a broken man and the woman who helps him to heal.

2. The Guy on the Right by Kate Stewart
Strike One-My mother named me Theodore after her favorite chipmunk.
Not cool, Mom.
I‘ve spent most of my life answering to Teddy, because I couldn’t make Theo work. Except for here. College. The place where all bets are off, and I’ve managed to redeem myself.
There’s only one problem, my new roommate, Troy, is football royalty and looks like he stepped off the set of an Abercrombie shoot.
Doesn’t matter, I cook a mean breakfast for his panty parade, and we get along well.
And anyway, this year I got the girl. And she’s perfect.
That’s right. Theodore Houseman, former band geek, now marching band rock star has finally landed the girl of his dreams.
Everything is perfect.
That is, until Troy takes a good look at her.
I’m not going down without a fight. As a matter of fact, I’m not going down at all. As glorious as these days may be for my all-star roommate, Laney is my end game.
I may not know much about play strategy, but I’ve been the good guy my whole life. I’ve been listening and I know exactly what women want. Framed in a picture standing next to me, Troy may seem like Mr. Perfect, but he’s underestimating the guy on the right.
Spoiler alert: In this story, the underdog is going to win.

3. I Flipping Love You (Shacking Up #3) by Helena Hunting
A new kind of love story about flipping houses, taking risks, and landing that special someone who’s move-in ready…
SHE’S GOT CURB APPEAL
Rian Sutter grew up with the finer things in life. Spending summers in The Hamptons was a normal occurrence for her until her parents lost everything years ago. Now Rian and her sister are getting their life, and finances, back on track through real estate. Not only do they buy and sell houses to the rich and famous, but they finally have the capital to flip their very own beachfront property. But when she inadvertently catches the attention of a sexy stranger who snaps up every house from under her, all bets are off…
HE’S A FIXER UPPER
Pierce Whitfield doesn’t normally demo kitchens, install dry wall, or tear apart a beautiful woman’s dreams. He’s just a down-on-his-luck lawyer who needed a break from the city and agreed to help his brother work on a few homes in the Hamptons. When he first meets Rian, the attraction is undeniable. But when they start competing for the same pieces of prime real estate, the early sparks turn into full-blown fireworks. Can these passionate rivals turn up the heat on their budding romance — without burning down the house?
I FLIPPING LOVE YOU, set in the Shacking Up world, follows two people, both working in real estate, who find themselves vying for the same properties in the Hamptons, leading to a sometimes-not-so-friendly competition.

4. Method by Kate Stewart
Hollywood is a temptress, a trickster, a soul-stealing devil. I married an A-list player, knowing I come second place to his craft. But Lucas and I are a golden couple, a modern-day fairy tale.
I’ve never doubted what we built…until the sudden death of Lucas’s best friend has scandal rocking the Hills and shaking the foundation of our relationship.
I chose Lucas as my safe haven…he chose the role of a lifetime.
For the next three months, I’ll share my nights with a stranger, watching as he buries his pain, immersed in his role and living as someone else.
We’ve done this before. I tell myself it’s just another movie, and he’ll return to me.
I should’ve known this time would be different.
To get my husband back, I’ll need the strength of ten men.
As it turns out, I’ll have to go through two.

5. It Wasn’t Me (KPD Motorcycle Patrol #2) by Lani Lynn Vale
Piper Mackenzie first sees him shirtless, standing in front of the military plane she was about to board, with one rather large wrench in his hand. The fact that he has the plane—the one that she’s about to be flying on for hours—in pieces only minutes before she’s set to take off on it doesn’t faze her. At least not until a flippant joke about dying in mid-air leaves his lips.
The second time she sees him, he’s helping her from the wreckage of her car. The wreckage that he helped cause.
The third, he’s laying across from her in the same bed, and there’s no denying what happened the night before.
The fourth, well that time would be the first of many. Being Mrs. Jonah Crew has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?
*****
Jonah Crew saw her for the first time as she stared at him in awe. It was snowing, the temp was in the negative degrees, and he couldn’t think about anything but her and the look of horror on her face when he tells a badly-timed joke.
The second time he sees her, his heart skips a beat, but not for the reason that one might think. Mainly, it’s due in part to the fact that his truck smashed into her car so hard that his chest hits the steering wheel and his heart decides to stop working right.
The third time, he’s fairly positive that he’s died and gone to heaven. At least, that’s what waking up next to a beautiful woman like her signifies, right?
The fourth? Well, he’s not quite sure how he got there, but he’s already said ‘I do’ so what’s a guy to do?

6. The Unforgettable Kind by Melanie Munton
A best friends to enemies to lovers romance.
SAM
As the first female lead sportscaster with FNN (Football News Network), I’ve had to be tough and unflappable for years. No matter how far we women have come, football is still a man’s world. Which is why I’ve strutted my stilettos and lipstick on every field and around every TV studio I’ve ever worked, making sure everyone knows just how much of a woman I am. I let no man get under my skin.
Especially not Kade Jennings.
We have a history, Kade and I. It goes all the way back to high school and spans our college years. We used to be best friends. But we haven’t spoken in years, not since he left without a word, and I made it clear that I never wanted to speak to him again. Now all of a sudden he’s FNN’s newest analyst?
He thinks I’ll break. With every wink he flashes me off-camera and every grope he sneaks under the table, he assumes I’ll shed my badass shell and fall into his arms like old times.
Well screw him, his charismatic smile, and his giant di—er—ego.
I am where I am today because I’ve never let any man stand in my way.
If Kade even tries, I’ll bring him to his knees.
KADE
Fate can be a real bitch.
One minute you think you’re going to get the girl, and the next minute she’s slipping away. It’s a complicated thing, to be in love with your best friend. That friend zone is a tricky place to be, not that I ever entered into it willingly. At least, not with Sam. Fate just seemed to place me there, despite the fight I put up.
Well, fate can go screw herself.
Sam Lawrence was always meant to be mine.
And it’s finally time that I prove it to her.

The man who stole me, broke me and made me his forever.
Dante Santiago.
My deepest, darkest secret.
I may be ignorant to the worst of his savagery, to the tortured history that has driven the heartless criminal to such extremes, but I know exactly how his body feels as it sinks slowly into mine – stretching, conquering, completing. I know every hard angle, every dark trail; every golden plane as he moulds himself to me like a second skin.
The man I will never ever betray.
Dante
Six months apart.
An eternity.
I swore an oath to stay away.
To keep her safe.
Together we wiped my past from the face of this earth but another rose up in his place. An enemy more deadly, more determined. One who will stop at nothing to destroy me.
Damn this half-life that I’m forced to endure without her.

Her light was a blazing trail, illuminating the bullet holes that studded my darkness.

11. Text Me Baby One More Time (Texting #4) by Teagan Hunter
I love you, he said.
Forever, he said.
Turns out, he lied.
When he leaves me high and dry after a cross-country move, I push him out of my life as much as I can, which is hard to do when the guy who broke your heart also happens to be the most famous dude in town.
After a disastrous year, he’s aiming to rehab his reputation, and I just so happen to be aiming for a promotion at the paper.
So, we strike a deal, and it’s a win-win all around.
Besides, what’s the harm in a few dates to charity galas anyway?
He’s arrogant, a total jerk. There’s no way I’ll fall for him…again.
I used to love him. Now I hate him…I think.

12. Flirting with the Frenemy (Bro Code #1) by Pippa Grant
Mission: Survive my best friend’s wedding, where I must play nice with my ex and his perfect new girlfriend.
Strategy: Bring the hottest fake boyfriend on the planet.
Target: Grady Rock. Master Baker. Dimples. Muscles. The unicorn of fake boyfriends.
Complication: Wyatt Morgan. My brother’s best friend. My sworn enemy. Military man. Sexy as hell single dad. The man I let into my panties for one night of hot hate sex after my ex dumped me.
And the man who just scared off that perfect fake boyfriend.
By pretending to be my real boyfriend.
I can roll with this though. What’s the harm in Flirting with the Frenemy if it helps me get the job done?
Complete my mission and move on.
Or so I thought.
Until Wyatt kisses me again and I start feeling things I shouldn’t.
The thing about weddings…nothing ever goes as planned.
Flirting with the Frenemy is a rollicking fun romantic comedy featuring a single dad military man, an irritatingly attractive blast from his past, pirates, cursing parrots, and a wedding gone wild. It stands alone with no cheating or cliffhangers.
