This post is in collaboration with Cocokind. I received complimentary products in exchange for my honest review. Thanks for supporting the brands that support Elephant on the Road!
Hey there, lovelies! Today I have a fun and informative post for skincare beginners and for those who are looking for new skincare brands to try.
As you can tell by the title, I’m going to review some products from Cocokind. The daily spf, mymatcha all-over moisture stick, revitalizing eye cream, and the oil to milk cleanser. Which are a important skincare products in my routine.
I have been trying these Cocokind products for a couple of weeks now and I’m ready to give you my opinion on them.
As reference, I have combination oily skin; which tends to be more dry in the winter and more oily during the summer, but mainly because of the humidity and sweat.

Before starting with the review, I want to talk a little bit about the brand, and what they stand for.
Cocokind defines themselves as a conscious beauty company for all. Cocokind products are sustainable and cruelty free. The packaging in some of their products, are also recyclable. I love that!
I also like the fact that they are very transparent about what it goes into their products. That is hard to find in the skincare industry.
Cocokind has many products for different skin types and needs, so you can definitely find that for you will want to try; like oils, masks, toners, creams, etc.
Sunscreen in general is the most important product in your skincare routine. The UV rays are the most dangerous things for your skin and that can age you so fast! Definitely a step you don’t want to skip in the morning.
What I Love About The Cocokind Sunscreen
For some reason, before trying the Cocokind Daily SPF, I have been having trouble trying to find a sunscreen that doesn’t irritate my eyes. It’s important to apply it on your eyelids as well, and so many make my eyes burn. It has been super frustrating.
This sunscreen is amazing because that doesn’t happen! I can apply it without worrying about the irritation.
It also protects against UVA rays (that cause aging) and UVB rays (that cause burning), pollution, and blue light. Which basically means that it will protect you from the light of your cell phone and computer (which I didn’t know it was a thing!).
The small size of the container means that is a great sunscreen to carry in your purse when you need to re-apply.
It’s good for all skin types. Which means that even though you have oily skin (which I sometimes do during the summer), it doesn’t leave you extra oily. Although it does takes a few minutes for that happen.
Another important thing is that it also doesn’t leave a white cast (which is super important for me). Especially if you are going out right after applying sunscreen.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT THE DAILY SPF
The SPF is 32 which is in my opinion is a little low for when you have to be exposed to the sun. Especially during the summer. I prefer sunscreens that are closer to SPF 50.
In that sense, it’s a great sunscreen for those days you stay at home. Or for winter.
Even though the small packaging of this product makes it easier to carry around, it’s also too small for the amount of sunscreen that you actually need to apply to get the coverage and protection we need.
You’d have to buy a new bottle every two weeks or so, and at $24 a bottle it’s a little too much for me. I just wish the bottle was bigger. Although, it is a very standard size for face sunscreens anyway.
This is my new favorite lip balm, and I love it. It’s big, and the price is great for what you get.
Besides, it’s not only meant to be used a lip balm, you can also use it in different areas of your skin like under eyes since it helps to reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness.
In this format, they also other options. Like the Turmeric Stick (that helps to brighten dark spots), Macabeet Tinted Moisture Stick (which is like a tinted lip balm and blush), and they also have three different highlighters in this stick format as well.
I love everything in this product and I’ll definitely keep get them. Although next time I will be trying a different one.
I would like to add that if you don’t really like the smell of matcha, then I would recommend you to try a different one since the smell it’s quite strong.
This eye cream is amazing, and the metal applicator feels so good on my skin (especially in the morning). Definitely one of my favorites steps in my morning and night routine.
The Revitalizing Eye Cream helps to reduce dark circles and the appearance of bags, which I totally saw the improvement after around a week.
It supposed to also help with fine lines, but I haven’t seen a change in that area. Also, I don’t have big ones, so it’s not really an issue for me.
This cream is thick, but absorbs super easily and leaves the area moisturized. My skin feels so good after applying!
I definitely recommend it if you have dark circles and puffiness, and it’s great for all skin types.
A great oil-based cleanser option, especially if you don’t like cleansing balms.
This cleanser transforms into milk upon contact with water, which I thought it was cool. It feels like you are really cleaning the skin. Removes dirt and makeup pretty well and it doesn’t leaves you skin dry like other cleansers.
I haven’t use this cleanser to remove waterproof mascara, but it does a great job with the regular ones. As well as with the rest of my make up.
I use the Oil To Milk Cleanser as part of my double cleansing routine at night. That way I make sure to remove my sunscreen, dirt, and make up from the day. Then I follow up with the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser water-based cleanser.
It’s a great combination that doesn’t strip my face from the natural oils, and keeps my skin barrier.
Although this product is good for all skin types, I would say that if you have oily skin you might not like how your skin feels after this cleanser. It doesn’t feel oily, but at the same time it doesn’t feel like it got rid of the oil. It does leave your skin super soft afterwards though.
Cocokind Review Final Thoughts
Overall Cocokind is a great brand that has a lot of available products that you can choose from depending on your needs. It’s also very inclusive since they are for all different skin types.
The fact that they care about being sustainable and cruelty-free is also important for me.
I will definitely be getting more of their products in the future. Especially the eye-cream and the matcha stick.
They are also relatively cheap compared to other skincare brands. We know how expensive some skincare products can be.
When you get their products, make sure to check out their website for the “how to use” guide in each products, that way you can use them in the best way. Also check which part of each container is recyclable!
Where Can You Find Cocokind Products?
You can find their products in-store on Target, and even Whole Foods! And online on their website, Ulta, and Target.
