2023 Reading Challenge: Romance Books
If you are asking yourself how you can read more books this year, then doing a reading challenge is a great way to start.
It’s also a great way to explore different romance books sub-genres and tropes that you wouldn’t pick up in first place.
Another benefit of starting this 2023 reading challenge is that you can plan ahead the books you want to read. That can ease the issue of not knowing what book to read next.

This 2023 Reading Challenge: Romance Books Edition is very simple to follow, and all the prompts are easy enough that you can follow each of then with no problem.
I will also be adding some book recommendations for some of the prompts, that way you can have some ideas right away.
Now, even though this romance book challenge features 50 different prompts, you set the amount of books you want to read.
So don’t stress yourself trying to reading 50 books a year. That’s basically a book per week and not everyone has the same time to read.
How Does This Romance Book Reading Challenge Work?
For this challenge you can download the printable list so you can check off prompts as you go.
You can also use the Goodreads Challenge feature on the app, that works great as a tracker.
Another thing you can do is to add all the prompts as comment under your 2023 reading challenge on Goodreads, and from there you can check off the prompt you complete. Just like I did on 2019.
Another way to track this challenge is by adding it on Notion. This is great if you are already Notion user.
If you aren’t, I still recommend the app to organize everything in your life, which is definitely a topic for a different post (that will come up soon!).
Also you don’t have to do this challenge in any particular order.
